YAY!!

I won my first ever badge for ScrapFreak!!! I completed 7 of the Luau challenges so I was able to win a badge and I'm SUPER pumped!!! :) here it is

TONS of scrappin' done!

Wow, I got a LOT of layouts done this weekend!! DH was gone down south to float the river for a guy's trip for his birthday weekend so I had absolutely nothing to do other than scrap. So I participated in the Luau Crop. Here are all of the layouts that I got done!! :) It was alot of hard work, but it was a ton of fun!!

Luau Crop - ScrapFreak

Well I have been scrappin' away! To catch up to the Luau Crop that started last weekend. Here is what I've done so far ...

This one was for the recipe challenge, you had to take a recipe for the blue hawaiian and incorporate the "ingredients" into your layout. So here is mine! I also submitted this same layout for the banner challenge.

This one was for the card sketch, this was the inspiration and my take on it

First Homemade Card

Well I decided to attempt to make a homemade card for Father's Day. I was very nervous about this but decided to go in full force. I'm pretty proud of how I did and what I was able to accomplish with this being my first time. Here it is :)




I cut several different patterned papers and pasted them together, and used my scalloped scissors to make the blue edge that connected the 2 patterened papers. I used buttons, yarn, did stitching around the edges and doodling. The letters were american crafts glitter stickers and I LOVE them!

Hubby's Birthday

Well today is my WONDERFUL dear husbands 28th birthday! Just wanted to wish him the BEST birthday ever! :)

Tonight's plans are probably dinner and a movie since that's his favorite thing to do is the movies! We're probably going to see A-Team. Hope it's a good'n!

After that probably work on some more scrappin' challenges. I'm a little behind with all the stuff goin' on around the house lately. Since DH is going away on a "boys" birthday weekend hopefully I'll be able to get some done.

I'm going to attempt my FIRST ever card this weekend for my daddy for sunday. Wish me luck!! Well I lied, I made my own Christmas Cards last year, but I don't count that :)

Well I had quite a tough time with this weeks sketchy thursday challenge. I have been so busy this week that I completely forgot about it until tonight so I rushed to complete it so I could get it posted, so I'm not 100% thrilled with this layout.
