I finally got started on my scrapbook for our cruise we took this past may with the family. I made a digi one for my mom but decided to do a paper one for me. For this page I used the SassyLilSketches Jan. 21st sketch, I also did this page for the ScrapChicks 1.21 Hen Party Challenge (Quotable)

ScrapChicks (Hen Housewarming Party)

There was a House Warming Party over at ScrapChicks this weekend and there was TONS of inspiration! I completed these 2 LO's for the challenges

Thank You Card

I used this card for many purposes, I killed a bunch of stones with it! I did it for the color challenge for the Hen Housewarming Party over at ScrapChicks, I also used the Jan. 14th sketch from SassyLilSketches AND I did it with mostly scraps to go towards my "Card Scraps" Goal over at Sassy! Phew! That's alot of uses!

For some reason the colors are a little off on this when I photo'd it, probably the crappy lighting in my scrap room, sorry! It's red, black, white, a baby blue/teal and orange. The only part that's orange is the outside part of the big flower, not sure what happened with the rest of it, why it's so orange looking. I tried to edit it but it only got worse!

SLS Jan. 7th Sketch

 Yet another AMAZING sketch by Cherie over at Sassy Lil Sketches! I absolutely loved this sketch when I saw it but I had a FIT with it! I had several issues putting it together and I still don't LOVE it, but I'm ok with it.

Your Place in the Sun (Class)

 

I stumbled across this free class on ScrapScene and I'm in LOVE with this idea!

It's a FREE year long class to help you put together an album about the special place in your heart that you call Home. You will record the things you see, the places you go regularly. What a great thing to show your kids when they're older to show them the history behind the house they grew up in.

Window Card

I saw this ADORABLE card on kwerner's blog the other day and just fell in love with it and knew I had to try it out for myself! She even provided a video on how to assemble it and some cutting files for either your silhouette or cricut, and for those of you who DONT have one of those machines she provided a template for you to cut it all out yourself.

One Little Word

I have been sitting here for a few days wracking my brain trying to come up with my One Little Word for 2011. For those of you who are unaware what One Little Word is here is a brief description: a word that you can focus on, mediate on, and reflect upon as you go about your daily life.It can be something tangible or intangible. It could be a thought or a feeling or an emotion. It can be singular or plural. The key is to find something that has personal meaning for you. One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities.

So I've decided to do it this year, and I've been thinking about my word for over a week now trying to come up with the perfect word for me. I have come up with Motivation. I need to find more of it in my life, more motivation to exercise, scrap, better my marriage, start a family, everything I just need better motivation in my life to accomplish things and better myself. So there it is, I said it and it's now in writing so I'm bound to it.

Project 365

Well I have finally caught up on my Project 365!! Click on the Project 365 tab at the top of my blog and check it out!!

I MADE A DT!!!

Oh my gosh! I just can't believe it! I already fulfilled a scrappy goal and the year has barely begun! I have always wanted to be on a Design Team and I finally made it.
